Scion improves clinical outcomes with our diagnostic and preventative laboratory tests. When preventative laboratory tests are utilized appropriately the results can help reduce long term health care costs.

Scion Lab Services, LLC utilizes the latest generation immunoassay urine testing and liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LCMS/MS) to provide precise rapid results to empower substance abuse treatment facilities and other health care professionals to correctly address the needs of their patients, and to monitor adherence and compliance. We offer our clients an expansive Test Menu covering the most prevalent metabolites and analytes which produce the highest quality results and can further implement custom panels per the needs of the health care provider. We are continuously reviewing and modifying our offered Test Menu to ensure that the evolving list of illicit and abused drugs can be tested for and monitored by our customers.

Scion also utilizes state-of-the-art testing platforms to assess a wide variety of routine chemistries, including Endocrinology, as well as Immunology, Serology, and Hematology testing to address further medical conditions that health care professionals can utilize to determine treatment protocols. In addition to the available diverse menu of panels created in cooperation with physicians to support the routine needs of health care professionals, we will also work with each health care provider to create custom panels based upon your particular requirements.

Scion provides hereditary cancer risk assessment testing using Next Generation Sequencing for detecting pathogenic genetic variants associated with an increased risk for developing a hereditary cancer. Genetic testing for inherited cancers involves sequencing specific genes to determine if pathogenic variants are present. Identifying individuals who have inherited a familial mutation may allow for earlier targeted or specialized screening procedures or treatment. Early detection may prevent death and other serious health problems from occurring.
